Opencell named G-Cloud government supplier

Opencell Maintains its Position as Reliable G-Cloud Supplier

For the second year in a row, Opencell has been named a G-Cloud Supplier, allowing us to continue to provide reliable indoor network solutions to government and public sector organisations.

The G-Cloud framework has been designed to allow SMEs to compete for contracts that were once reserved only for the elite – easing commercial access between government hubs and small to medium-sized businesses. The tool allows the public sector such as education, healthcare and emergency services to access reliable cloud-based technology, reviewed and approved by the government.

With a large client-base already situated within the public sector, we are pleased to have maintained our position on the G-Cloud Supplier list. We have recently secured three new contracts; Hertfordshire Partnership University Hospital, Sussex Police Station and Northamptonshire County Council’s HQ, each requiring its own personalised network solution.

Hertfordshire Partnership University Hospital

With a tight budget and a deadline that couldn’t be extended, Hertfordshire Partnership University Hospital was keen on finding a solution provider that could deliver a cost-effective project on time. Opencell was the obvious choice, with our unrivalled capacity to provide mobile coverage from all four network providers in a matter of weeks. The hospital will soon take advantage of a multi-operator solution ensuring staff, visitors and patients have network while onsite.

Sussex Police

Earlier this year, Sussex Police underwent a large redevelopment to modernise their offices in Brighton. The development used materials notorious for blocking signal and therefore they were in need of finding a multi-operator provider to ensure staff and visitors could access a reliable network while indoors. Opencell was able to provide exactly what they needed, installing small cells throughout the building to boost signal for all four operators.

Northamptonshire County Council (NCC) HQ

As part of the Northampton Alive regeneration project, Project Angel aims to bring 2,000 professionals into the heart of Northampton while creating a more energy-efficient and collaborative workspace. As part of the project, NCC required the implementation of a reliable mobile network to allow for the flexibility they envisioned. Wanting to provide a change-led approach to public sector working, the council understood the importance of better mobile technology and ultimately used the G-Cloud Supplier list to approach the experts at Opencell for a solution. We installed a multi-operator mobile signal solution to ensure everyone on site had a reliable connection and ensuring a streamlined working environment.
